The Communications Department Clippings Files are actually a combination of clippings, memorandums and other office-generated information that were collected to document company and corporate activities, awards, events, programs and various other important proceedings. Dates run from 1965 to 1981 with very little identification applied to folders other than numbers. However, some folders do have titles that more clearly identify their content. These include: Student Exchange, Heart Attack, Your Money, Scholastic Art, Agents-Home Office, Cosmos Broadcasting Corporation, Greater Arizona Savings and Loan Association, United Fidelity Life Insurance Company, and The Liberty Corporation. Other folders in this collection, not specifically identified by number or title, are designated by month and quarter.
