Scope and Contents The collection contains one folder with an audiocassette tape (and CD-ROM copy) of various outtakes from WHTK's broadcasts during the period immediately after Hurricane Hugo struck the South Carolina coast in September, 1989. There is also a transcript of the tape and a letter describing the tape and transcript from announcer/producer Kirk Taylor to Liz Newell of the Clemson University Alumni Association.

Abraham Wolfe Davidson Papers

Abstract Abraham Wolfe Davidson emigrated from Russia to the United States when he was a teenager. He studied art in both countries and became a sculptor, painter and art teacher. Davidson taught for 18 years at Brenau College in Gainesville, Georgia. His sculpture can be found in numerous private and public collections, primarily in South Carolina and Georgia. Adlai Robin Yates Papers

Abstract This collection consists of the personal papers of Adlai Robin Yates relating to his genealogical research of more than fifty years. His research mainly focused on Louisiana, but his work also included other Southern states such as Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. Adlai Yates was not a professional genealogist by training but had a consuming passion for the subject and created a unique research collection.
