These papers contain 17 chapters of Passing in Review, an aborted history of the Quartermaster Corps in the European Theater of Operations in World War II. It was conceived and edited by General Littlejohn; a number of officers who contributed chapters played major roles under Littlejohn's command. There is also a second volume, Storage and Distribution of Quartermaster Supplies in the ETO in WWII, published by the Quartermaster School, Fort Lee, Va., in March 1962. This volume contains photographs, biographical and anecdotal information about many vital services the Quartermaster Corps performed in WW II. Editor and author, Littlejohn, was assisted by some of his chiefs of division and base section Quartermasters, who actually engaged in the operations. There are photographs and biographical accounts in the chapters they contributed.
