The T.F. Clinton papers contain a small receipt book and three bills of sale. The receipt book lists payments received from John Rosborough concerning the care of the poor, insane, etc. in the years 1828-1829 and receipts for teachers in the free school during 1841-1842. The book also contains 1879 and 1881 receipts from T.F. Clinton for rent as one of the heirs at law to the real estate of Mary Parrish. Chester County, South Carolina is considered the location for the receipt book. The three bills of sale are dated December 22, 1886, and are for merchandise sold by T.F. Clinton to W.L. Roddey & Co., Cotton Buyers of Rock Hill, SC.
