Historical Note

Woodburn Plantation was built about 1820 by Charles Cotesworth Pinckney, Jr. Woodburn is located in Pendleton, South Carolina. It is currently run as an historic house museum by the Foundation for Historic Restoration in the Pendleton Area, which leases it from Clemson University.
