The collection consists of one folder containing a sheet describing the Robert Easley family line in Virginia and South Carolina. It is based upon Wirt Johnson Carrington's History of Halifax County, Appeals Press: Richmond, 1924.
Robert Easley lived in Henrico County, Virginia in 1681. He died in 1711. A 1782 census of Virginia showed Robert Easley (grandson of the above) in Halifax County, Virginia, and later in the 1790 United States census shows Robert living in the Pendleton District of South Carolina. The author of the genealogy also speculates that Grandson Robert might have been a Revolutionary War veteran.
