This series contains materials not maintained in the correspondence files of Sikes. One collected item of note is a manuscript thought to be a source Sikes was using to write a book on the history of Baptists in South Carolina. Other items, including a poem written by Mrs. Sikes, were removed from Sikes' desk at the time of his death in 1941 and were later donated to the library.
