This series contains correspondence, memoranda, minutes of meetings, photographs, and publications. The records were generated by the Deans of the School of Nursing, and the College of Nursing. The material in the collection covers the period 1967-1995, with most of the collection dating from 1979-1994.
Correspondence files comprise the bulk of the series. Major correspondents include Deans Geraldine Labecki, Gloria Tanner (acting), Mary Lohr, and Opal Hipps. Other files document various activities of the departments within the college, the research, the Wellness Center, continuing education brochures, curriculum, degree programs, joint projects with health facilities in South Carolina, the nursing building, and the school nurse practitioner program.
