Biographical/Historical

Franklin Wallace served in Iraq in 2005 as a first lieutenant training Iraqi security forces. He resigned his commission and became a warrant officer in order to train as a helicopter pilot. In 2008 he served in Korea and in 2009 Wallace was a medical-evacuation helicopter pilot with the 2nd Infantry Division attached to the 101st Airborne Division in Afghanistan.
