Scope and Contents

The letter included with the reminiscences includes information on tuition and expenses during Ingalls's time at Clemson. Part 1 of 4 tells the story of Ingalls's arrival at Clemson, matriculation, and first day as a student at the college. Part 2 of 4 details cadet life for Ingalls. He tells the story of how he was assigned to the drum and bugle corps and things he would do in his free time, like hiking and interacting with other cadets. Part 3 of 4 details how Ingalls is still connected to the college. At the time of writing he was about to go to his 55 year class reunion. He also in great detail writes about the many Clemson football games he goes to all over the South. Part 4 of 4 is a short reminisence about Ingalls vacationing on Jekyll Island.

Abstract

A 4 part 7 page handwritten telling of W. B. Ingallls's time as a student at Clemson College from 1928-1932. A letter addressed to 'Ms Littlejohn' dated November 20, 1988 is included with the pages. The letter says this information could be helpful if Littlejohn intends to write any more.
