This collection contains the Clemson Agriculture College Bachelor of Science diploma of John Hugh McClain, 1906; his commission as a second Lieutenant in the Clemson Cadet Corps, 1906; his certificate as a graduate fellow of the Columbian Literary Society, 1906; and his certificate of proficiency in the dairy industry from Cornell University, 1909. It also includes McClain's 1906 class ring and the metal cylinder for his graduation diploma. There is also a 1929 Clemson graduation program from Rufus Nathan McClain.
John Hugh McClain was a 1906 graduate of Clemson Agriculture College.
