The papers include photographic copies of eleven letters: one (1861) is a permission for Manson Jolly to travel from Sullivan's Island to the Anderson Court House; eight (1866-1868) were written to family members as he traveled to Texas and from Texas; two (1869) were from a cousin regarding Manson's death.
