T. Wilbur "Buddy" Thornhill, was a South Carolinian, a Clemson graduate, a Captain in World War I, a business man, and public servant. He was always interested in educational, agricultural, and industrial development for South Carolina. These interests and his activities qualified him for his position on Clemson's Board of Trustees.
