Scope and Contents note
This series of records consists of annual reports, correspondence, memoranda, minutes, and publications. The bulk of records is correspondence of library directors Cornelia Graham, Gordon Gourlay, and Joe Boykin spanning the years 1932-1990. Documented in the records are activities of committees, faculty and staff, library automation, construction of library building, and library reorganization. There is correspondence from deans and directors, treasurers and college presidents that reflects the on-campus activities as well as the university's programs throughout the state and nation.
The administrative files of Joe Boykin and Richard Meyer, Associate Director, are arranged by an alphanumeric code [A1, A2, B1, B2, etc.]. The earlier administrative records of Gordon Gourlay, Cornelia Graham and Katherine Trescot are arranged alphabetically by subject.
