Summary

Mr. Charles Bussey, Marketing Director at the Louis P. Batson Company, graduated from Clemson in 1957 in Textile Manufacturing with a knitting option. While answering the standard questions, he comments that "Computerization in textiles is the thing of the future and Clemson should zero in on it." Mr. Bussey also comments on the decline of American made textile equipment and the rise of the use of foreign made textile equipment.

Mr. Louis P. Batson was a 1948 graduate of Clemson in Textile Engineering. In addition to the standard questions, he comments on the changes in the textile industry from cottons to synthetics. He also discusses the management since 1948 of a family business which imports and sells foreign made textile equipment. Mr. Batson serves on the Board of Trustees at Clemson.
