Furman Company consist of files documenting the sale of real estate, primarily residential housing, by textile manufacturing companies during 1945-1970. The collection consists of two style books, 1949-1951, which contain technical information on various textile styles, such as weight and warp, and lists concerning both Ottaray Textiles and Haynsworth Mills; a record book of the receipts and expenditures of the Woodside Mills foundation for the period 1951-1974; and a notebook of executive position descriptions classified and evaluated by Hay Associates for Dan River, Inc., 1971-1977.
