This series consists of records of the President that President Atchley transferred to the University Archives at the end of his administration in July 1985.
The Black Heritage in the Upper Piedmont Project, under the direction of Dr. W.J Megginson in the early 1990s, documented the rich heritage of the local African American community through photographs, oral history interviews, and documentary research.
The collection consists of one folder. It contains seven loose sheets; six are typed compilations of census data from various sources and the last page is one hand-drawn family tree.
This series contains the records of the Board of Trustees. The records consist of reference and correspondence files of the executive secretary, minutes of meetings of the board and its committees, meeting materials, manuals, and publications.
Bob and Nellie is a novelette based in part upon the author's early life and that of his family. The author dealt with South Carolina and Massachusetts during the period 1876-1900 and hoped to help heal the sectional conflicts through this work.
