The Elton W. Shepherd, Sr. Papers document the World War II military service of a member of Clemson College’s Class of 1939. Shepherd served in the China-Burma-India Theater as part of the U.S. Army Air Force Air Transport Command.
The collection includes certificates, correspondence, forms, memoranda, orders, and other materials related to Shepherd’s assignments in the United States, India, and China from 1942-1945.

The records of the South Carolina Division of the Appalachian Society of American Foresters document its internal operations and activities, 1956-1997.
