The collection consists of positives, negatives and slides that depict the history of Clemson University. There are about 1200 prints, about 1150 negatives and 1200 slides with images that span the period from 1880s to 1960s.
Voting tickets from 1872 and 1876. There is a fake Union Republic ticket for 1876 which lists the Democratic candidates. Two Republican tickets for South Carolina, headed by Franklin J. Moses, Jr., candidate for Governor, 1872-1874; also Union Republican tickets, headed by Rutherford B. Hayes for President. Samuel J. Tilden was the Democratic candidate for President; the fake Union Republican ticket shows Tilden for President.
